Pipeline

A pipeline is a visual way of tracking potential sales leads as they progress through different stages in the purchasing process. Rizer CRM uses three types of pipelines to help you manage lead and customer sales flows. Each pipeline is made up of a series of actions. In this screen you can edit the list of actions, set different scheduling defaults and durations, and much more.

In Rizer CRM you have pipelines for deals, onboarding new customer or retention actions.

Rizer CRM splits each pipeline into multiple sales stages. Each sales stage has a predefined list of possible actions.

The lead pipeline covers:

The customer pipeline covers:

  • Evaluation stage – when a sales representative will qualify the customer and decide on a course of action
  • Demo stage – when you present the product or service
  • Quote stage – when you negotiate the price, provide a quote for additional products or services, decide on contract terms, and agree on the deal

The main difference between lead and customer pipelines is that the customer pipeline does not have the “First contact” stage. This is because customers already know you and are familiar with the products and services you’re selling so there is no need for it.

Each stage has a set of suggested actions that can be scheduled or queued and a suggested user role for each action.

Editing a pipeline action

You can add or edit these actions. You get the option to edit the:

  • Custom name
  • Position of the action inside the stage
  • Action type: call, meeting or email (this is multiselect)
  • The default action type
  • Scheduling method: scheduled or queued or to-do
  • A default deadline
  • and an Action duration: by providing an estimate

You can save everything you changed by clicking “ Save” or undo and go back by clicking the “Cancel” button.

Multiple pipelines

Leads, customers, onboarding, and retention can be managed through multiple pipelines.

Utilizing this functionality enables the sales team to categorize similar sales processes for improved control and measurement.

Create a new pipeline

When establishing a new pipeline, you have the opportunity to select the name and the type (leads, onboarding, customers, or retention).

Additionally, there is the option to incorporate default actions in order to avoid starting with an empty pipeline. This will generate one action in each of the stages to facilitate the initial setup.
