Configuring the middle tab

The Rizer Recycling app allows you to customize the display of key recycling data and functionalities directly on your HubSpot records. This guide walks you through the process of creating a new middle tab and adding Rizer Recycling app cards.

Prerequisites

• Confirm that the Rizer Recycling app is installed in your HubSpot account.
• Verify that you have the necessary permissions to customize HubSpot object records.
• Familiarity with HubSpot’s Settings and record customization will be beneficial.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Access Record Customization
   • Log in to your HubSpot account and click the settings icon in the top navigation bar.
   • In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Objects and select the object you wish to customize (for example, Contacts, Companies, Deals, or Tickets).
   • Click the Record Customization tab to begin editing your record layout.
2. Edit the Middle Column
   • Within the Record Customization section, locate the middle column settings.
   • Click the “Customize the middle column” button to open the configuration options.
3. Create a New Tab
   • Look for the existing tabs in your record layout and click the plus sign (+) next to them.
   • Enter a name for your new tab (for example, “Rizer Recycling”) and click Done.
   • This new tab will now appear alongside your existing tabs, ready for customization.
4. Add Cards to Your Tab
   • Navigate to your newly created tab by selecting it in the record view.
   • Click the “Add card” button to open the card selection interface.
5. Select Your App Card
   • In the card selection panel, locate the section labeled “Apps” to view available app cards.
   • Find and check the box next to your Rizer Recycling card to add it to your custom tab.
6. Arrange Cards
   • Once added, you can drag and drop the card(s) to arrange them in the order that best suits your workflow.
   • Rearranging ensures that your most frequently used information is prominently displayed.
7. Save Your Changes
   • After adding and arranging your Rizer Recycling app card, click “Save” or “Save and exit” in the top right corner of the customization window.
   • Your changes will be applied, and the new middle tab with your app card will now appear in your record view.

Additional Tips

• If you do not see the new tab or card immediately, try refreshing your browser or clearing your cache.
• Revisit the Record Customization page anytime to further tweak your layout or add additional cards as needed.
